as you can see the forums are completely new. this was in part to hostgator throwing http 500 errors, i rehashed the settings, reinstalled the forum software, upgraded php all to no avail. it could have possibly been the theme no longer supported but i could find no themes to support the current forum software version and all the new ones did not support the version i had. so, we got a new install... which is not exactly a bad thing considering alot of thew information was dated and confusing with the various versions so now we got a clean slate.
the current development project is Tele-Arena Platinum 3.50 as of this post and will be released next.
Anything else you need lemme know.

yeah i been working on the game nonstop. probably i will put up some form of test bbs
when i feel good about it, and let people play with it. then when it is good for
release just drop it on the main bbs or let each ta flavor have their own home server.
not sure how to go about that yet.

the newest is being worked on (3.50) with a test version due out in the next week or 2.
the current is on the bbs which can be played.
after full release of 3.50 i will leave the old up but there will be an option to "kind of" merge your character
into the new. not everything can come over due to the significant changes but i am open to not losing progress

You know, since you are starting the forums over. Why not just use discord? It's free and can be organized like a forum.

You know, since you are starting the forums over. Why not just use discord? It's free and can be organized like a forum.

mainly because all the old references out there still point here and not just point here but the long version "arcticzone-hosting.net/worldgroup/forums" instead of "forums.arcticzonebbs.net" this is what stopped me from
reorganizing few years ago. i was going to stick with the plain old list server and let people subscribe to specific lists and get info then i did a twitter a while but always got emailed about the forums being down.

one thing about me is no matter how many years pass by i will always be here. i am even going to do releases to all my games now so others can run them on their own machines if they want. this isn't the 90's no reason to be the only game in town for a specific tele-arena flavor anymore. so now people can get copies of Classic, Platinum, Warfare, Darkness, and Survival and run their own servers, or as always they can go to my bbs and play away.

I can always redo the characters, especially if trying to merge them can slow ya down. I'd rather play the new version.

I can always redo the characters, especially if trying to merge them can slow ya down. I'd rather play the new version.

all my versions have their own engines now, no more forking a single codebase so it goes kinda fast now.
i already got the new map in, the race kits in, im adding in the class kits now then im gonna do a test version
on a vm to make sure its stable then move it over. 3.50 can run side by side with the older version because the
file names are different.
